How SNAP.FIT works

Find words that fit each row or column and snap them into place. Each day gives four starting-run givens. A shared Across/Down starter counts as two. You can type normally through a run or click individual cells to pencil standalone planning letters.

Fixed starters, hints, and crossover letters stay in the typing cursor sequence. They cannot be erased, but you type the matching letter to move through them.

When a run visibly spells a complete valid word, SNAP WORD locks it permanently. Before a word snaps, the game checks that the remaining grid still has at least one complete solution.

If no legal finish remains, the game shows a NO MOVES AVAILABLE popup with an option to restart the grid.

Daily scoring

Harder and less-common words can earn more. Each hint costs 75 points, Undo costs 150, Retry costs 300, and faster finishes earn a time bonus. A letter revealed by HINT is assistance: it does not earn the +25 fixed-letter bonus for any word it constrains. A simple plural of another accepted word (for example, an accepted singular plus -s or -es) is still legal, but scores 50 fewer points.

Full-screen mobile play

For the cleanest phone experience, add SNAP.FIT to your Home Screen and launch it from there. In standalone mode the browser address/URL bar is removed, including while the keyboard is open.

Achievement counts: Performance achievements such as CLEAN SNAP, PERFECT FIT, MAXIMUM SNAP, RARE FORM, and WORDSMITH can be earned repeatedly. Stats shows how many times you have earned each one. Milestone achievements such as streak and lifetime totals unlock once and remain at ×1.

Secret achievements: Streak, lifetime, and word-count milestones are visible from the start so you know what you are chasing. Locked performance and special achievements appear as mystery slots until you earn them.

Special achievements: FULL ASSIST is earned by finishing after using all 5 hints. ONE SHOT is earned by filling the entire grid before your first successful snap and then completing the puzzle without changing that prefilled grid.

Feedback: Use the FEEDBACK button in the game to report bugs, grid/layout issues, word issues, suggestions, or anything else. SNAP.FIT opens your normal email app with a message addressed to feedback@playsnap.fit and automatically includes basic game diagnostics to help troubleshoot the report.

One official run per day. Your first completed daily grid is your official score. Once you finish, your seven snapped answers are locked and remain visible for the rest of that UTC day. You can still reopen and share your result, but you cannot replay the daily puzzle for a higher score.

Word-point ceiling: After you complete the daily grid, the result screen shows your earned word points against the exact maximum word points achievable on that day’s grid and starting letters. Time bonuses and penalties are separate from this figure.

Snapping a word: Once the active run is filled with a valid word, press Return/Enter on the keyboard to commit it. A snapped word locks permanently into the grid and constrains its crossings.
